Micro-evolutionary and plastic responses to rapid environmental changes
Understanding how animals respond to environmental changes, and what the consequences are, is increasingly important in our rapidly changing world. My research focuses on investigating the impacts of climate and global change on the phenology, behaviour and life-history of wild animal populations [more info here].
Eco-evolutionary dynamics
A major focus of my research is to understand the links between natural selection, micro-evolution and population demography, and their interaction with environmental conditions [more info here].
Causes and consequences of variation among individuals
Investigating the causes and consequences of among-individual variation in labile traits such as behaviour, life-history and physiology is a major objective of my research agenda. I address these questions using empirical and synthesis approaches [more info here].
